What's that you say? This weekend, we were cleaning a corner of our garage, trying create some semblance of order in it when we find this unexpected image. It is between the house slab and the garage slab.Basically, it's mostly dirt. But what brought the dirt through the crack in between the slabs is this unexpected, unwanted and undesirable little visitor.
These here little guys are called subterranean termites.
Very destructive little creatures. What you say? Didn't you have a termite inspection before buying the house? Why, yes...as a matter of fact, we did. The so-called report came out clean.
Oh, but you have home warranty...house insurance? Don't even mention it. Termites like earthquakes...and apparently many other things are not covered by your normal insurance....that's separate. What exactly do they cover? Your guess is as good as mine. My guess is their pocket books and their own butt.

Oh you poor souls have you or can you go back and go after the inspector guy?? Call Amair ask him what his advice is. I know he would love to talk to you and help if he can. That is too weird you guys are having too many problems right away.
